Sand Island Campground
Located approximately 3 miles west of Bluff on Hwy 191. It lies along the San Juan River. BLM governed with pit toilets and water wells. This site is the only one I could find with information. I believe it is $10.00 a night. There are sites big enough for RV's.

Public Land
There is public land all around used for camping. Two of the most popular places are Bulter Wash and Comb Wash. Located south of town 5 & 6 miles. No facilities are available in these areas, but it is free.
